Bark — a modern Pacific Northwest cuisine restaurant in Bellingham, Washington — was preparing to open its doors but had no brand identity to speak of. Without a logo or visual direction, they had no foundation for their printed materials, signage, or the overall impression they wanted to make on guests. They needed a complete brand built from the ground up, one that could carry their story across every touchpoint.
THE PROBLEM
Legacy Creative developed Bark's full brand identity, starting with a hand-crafted logo centered on a detailed tree ring cross-section — a nod to the Pacific Northwest's deep connection to nature and timber. From that anchor, we designed and produced a complete suite of printed materials: menus, business cards, kraft paper shopping bags, wooden laser-engraved coasters, stickers, matchboxes with branded packaging, and napkin bands. Every piece carried the same cohesive visual language — earthy, refined, and distinctly PNW.
WHAT WE BUILT
THE RESULT
Bark opened to outstanding feedback, with guests and industry peers alike taking notice of the brand's polished, cohesive look. The logo became the centerpiece of their storefront — scaled up and fabricated into a high-end sign for the front of their location. What started as a brand identity project became the foundation of an entire customer experience, from the moment someone walks through the door to every detail on the table.
